Accounting (BS)The Bachelor's degree in Accounting is designed to prepare the graduate for entry into positions with public accounting firms and similarly challenging positions with private, government, and nonprofit organizations. The objectives of the major are to provide the graduate with an understanding of business and financial concepts and how they relate to professional accounting — including the principles of federal taxation, auditing, and accounting for small businesses and corporations.
Accounting - Forensic Accounting (BS)The Bachelor's degree in Accounting with Forensic Accounting emphasis is designed to prepare the graduate for entry into positions with public accounting firms and similarly challenging positions with private, government, and nonprofit organizations, including work with legal counsel and private investigators. The emphasis area allows forensic accountants to integrate the areas or accounting, auditing, and investigation and provide an accounting analysis that can be used for judicial debate and resolution. The objectives of the program are to prepare graduates to conduct an analysis, interpretation and summary of an organization's present financial situation in an understandable and adequately supported manner.
Business Administration (BS)A Business Administration degree prepares graduates for a variety of responsible managerial positions in both domestic and international firms. The objectives of the program are to provide a solid foundation in Accounting, Sales and Marketing, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, and Banking and Finance. The program provides the graduate with an integrated understanding of business and economic concepts and how they relate to the domestic and global economy.
Business Administration - Human Resources (BS)The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Human Resources Emphasis helps prepare graduates to find employment in positions such as human resource generalist, specialist positions in benefits, positions in staffing and recruiting, and human capital development and training. The objectives of the program are to provide a foundation in accounting, sales and marketing, operations management, human resource management and banking and finance and to provide the graduate with an integrated understanding of business and economic concepts and how they relate to the global economy. Topics for discussion include sourcing, recruiting, hiring, retention, talent mapping, training and developing employees, benefits and compensation policies, employment law, organizational development, and conflict resolution strategies.
Business Administration - New Media Marketing (BS)The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with New Media Marketing Emphasis helps prepare graduates for employment in entry-level to mid-level positions as an office manager, account manager, small business developer, human resource assistant, or sales manager. The objectives of the program is to provide a foundation in accounting, sales and marketing, operations management, human resource management and banking and finance and to provide the graduate with an integrated understanding of business and economic concepts and how they relate to the global economy. Topics of discussion will include emerging technologies, utilizing technologies for communication with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging the technology for sales and marketing purposes, and driving organizational and cultural change.

The emphasis is placed on preparing graduates to become certified in computer applications, networking, maintenance, and security. The emphasis prepares the graduate for entry into positions that include computer service technician, application specialist, and administrative and technical support representative.
Business Management & Accounting (AAS)The Business Management and Accounting program prepares students for a variety of responsible managerial positions. Due to the diversity of the program courses, the student will build a strong foundation in accounting, marketing, insurance, finance, electronic commerce and real estate. The major objective of the Information Design emphasis is to ensure competency at complex levels of information design creation, adaption, and management; attention attraction and retention optimization; cross-medium information presentation; universal design for professional design and communication; and ethical information design.

Medical Specialties (AOS)An Occupational Associate's Degree in Medical Specialties offers diverse clinical and administrative courses, allowing graduates to consider a variety of entry-level healthcare employment opportunities. Medical Specialists are in great demand in doctors' offices, hospitals, laboratories, and health centers in all geographic areas. You will have many opportunities as a Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Lab Assistant, EKG Technician, or Phlebotomist. You may decide to work for a surgeon, pediatrician, or general practitioner in a private office, hospital, or diagnostic laboratory. Pharmacy Technicians work in hospitals and retail pharmacies assisting pharmacists. Pharmacy Technicians have expertise in drugs and dosages, ordering, receiving, stocking, dispensing, calculating, and pricing. Computer skills are also necessary, and they are an integral part of our training program.
Networking and Information Systems Security (BS)The Bachelor of Science in Networking and Information Systems Security is designed to graduate a professional whose diverse practical and theoretical knowledge will guide the future of networking and information systems security in business and industry. Objectives of the program are to ensure competencies at complex levels of computer information systems operations, administration and management including; networking, database management, client interface, information security, and information protection. Graduates are employed in entry-level to mid-level positions as network administrators, project managers, systems analysts, security expert and entrepreneurs.
Nursing (RN completion to BS) (RN req)The Registered Nurse upgrade to a Bachelor of Science Completion in Nursing program prepares registered nurses (RNs) to meet the many changes in the healthcare field by expanding and enhancing their nursing education. The program is available to Registered Nurses only. The program prepares graduates for leadership roles and graduate study in nursing. The graduate is prepared to utilize theory and research-based knowledge in the provision of care to the client, the family and the community in a global society with flexibility to adapt to the changing nature of healthcare and healthcare roles. The graduate is also prepared to integrate care across multiple settings, managing the interactions between and among components of the integrated network of healthcare services.
Software and Mobile Application Development (BS)The Bachelor's degree program in Software and Mobile Applications Development prepares graduates to gain the skills necessary to succeed in the field of developing desktop, web, and mobile applications, using several programming languages, and using the systems development life cycle. Students learn to develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs, analyze user needs and develop software solutions, and design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency and user experience. Graduates will also be able to analyze and design databases, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team, and supervise computer programmers.
Web Design and Development (BS)The Bachelor of Science in Web Design and Development program is designed to help students qualify for entry- and mid-level positions in Web design, mobile application design, e-learning, information design, consumer electronics development, and human/computer interaction (HCI) technologies. The objective of the program is to give students the skills needed to produce Web applications, interactive presentations, mobile applications, and user interfaces in a growing diversity of consumer electronics by emphasizing both front and back-end development. Students are required to conceptualize, code, and publish their own standards-based content for a variety of formats while working with the multiple languages used in interactive design.
